  • What can I expect during my first session with you?
The first session typically entails some information gathering and an understanding of what brings you to therapy. We may establish some therapy goals that you would like to work on and go from there.
  • How often should I attend therapy?
Most clients attend therapy weekly or bi-weekly. However, the frequency of sessions will depend on your needs, therapeutic goals, and any other circumstances.
  • Are your services covered under insurance benefits?
The cost of psychotherapy services is covered by most health benefit plans. At the end of each session, you will be provided with a digital receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider. Please note that it is your responsibility to confirm if psychotherapy services are covered under your plan.
  • Do you offer any sliding scale options?
Yes. Sliding scale spots are available to make therapy more accessible for those experiencing financial barriers.
  • Are taxes charged on psychotherapy services?
Yes. Psychotherapy services have not yet become except to HST in Canada. The receipts provided will display taxes and can be submitted under personal income tax as a health expense.
  • I am in a state of crisis. Who do I contact?
