OUR CORE VALUES

Healing happens through connection, and therapy should feel human. My focus is on being present and real with you, helping you navigate life’s challenges with warmth and care, alongside the guidance of evidence-based practices.

Drawing from evidence-based therapies, trauma-informed practices, and a deep understanding of attachment theory, I integrate research to provide a well-rounded therapeutic experience. This ensures that our work together is always evolving, reflecting your needs and offering the best possible support. I believe healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, and am here to walk with you, offering a space where you can heal, grow, and build deeper connections with yourself and others.

Trauma affects both the mind and body, often causing cycles of overwhelm (fight/flight) or disconnection (freeze/numbness). Together, we will prioritize safety, regulation, and empowerment in your healing journey.

Committed to a personalized and holistic approach

At Holding Space for You Psychotherapy, the goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where healing can begin at your own pace. My approach focuses on the mind and body connection, recognizing that true healing happens when you feel heard, seen, and supported in a relationship built on trust and understanding. It’s within this space that we can process your internal world, exploring attachment patterns and past traumas, while honouring your unique experiences and needs.

I understand that every individual’s healing journey is unique, and I tailor our work to meet you where you are.

OUR PROMISE TO YOU

How We Work Together

Creating Safety

Healing begins with a space where you feel emotionally, mentally, and physically safe. I honour your pace and boundaries, never pushing beyond what feels manageable.

Regulation & Integration

Using tools like grounding, breath work, and somatic awareness, I support you in regulating your nervous system and reconnecting with your body. Over time, we’ll work to safely process and integrate traumatic memories, restoring a sense of wholeness.

Empowering Healing

Trauma can leave you feeling powerless. Together, we will rebuild a sense of agency by respecting your boundaries, needs, and readiness to engage with difficult experiences.

Attuned Presence

Sometimes, feelings are hard to express with words. I am attuned to your body language, energy, and tone to recognize when you may need grounding or a moment to pause.

IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU

Hi there, I'm Claudia

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist with a deep passion for supporting individuals on their healing journeys. As a trauma therapist, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to show up as your authentic self. I know that healing is a personal and transformative process, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

My approach is rooted in compassion and relational therapy. I work with you to gently explore and understand the different parts of yourself—the ones that protect, the ones that carry pain, and the ones ready to grow and transform. Together, we’ll uncover the meaning behind your symptoms and help you process your experiences in a way that feels both safe and empowering.

I integrate trauma-informed practices such as somatic practices and parts work to gently support reconnection with your mind and body.

This process is not just about focusing on pain—it’s about nurturing your strengths, resilience, and capacity for healing that already exist within you. My goal is to help you feel more grounded and connected, so you can live fully, authentically and in the present.

He’s typically close by during sessions, curled up and snoozing away (occasionally letting out soft snores)—just his way of modelling self-care and rest. His presence offers warmth and ease, helping to create a soothing, therapeutic space.
